LEADERSHIP

High Day’s leadership consists of three team members. God has truly blessed HIGH Day with a unique, committed and talented group of ladies who pray for HIGH day to be a blessing to each family who the LORD brings to us. Please keep us in your prayers!

  • Elisabeth Dunn

Elisabeth became a Christian as a young girl and loves Jesus with all her heart. He is a constant presence in her life. She attends First Presbyterian Church of Orlando. She has been married for 24 years to her husband Chris and has been homeschooling her 4 children since they were little for a total of 15 years. She has been a member of HIGH Day since 2011 and joined leadership in 2017. This year she will be using a variety of homeschooling resources but mostly Sonlight and Veritas Press. This year she will be homeschooling a 12th grade son, 10th grade daughter, and 7th grade daughter. She also has a son attending Valencia College. They intend to homeschool together all the way through graduation.

Elisabeth is our webmaster and new family registrar. She is responsible for communications with families.

  • Angie Stedman

Angie is married for 28 years this summer to Mark. She is a 20-year veteran homeschooling mom of five children.  This year she will be homeschooling children in 11th grade and 8th grade, with 3 adult children. Angie has a heart for the classical homeschool education movement, and loves to incorporate great literature (often from Sonlight) into her homeschool program. Angie became a Christian at 5 years old at her church VBS. She grew into a deeper understanding of faith and grace at work in her life as a young married stay at home mom. She loves using her gifts in administration and teaching to serve the LORD at her church in children’s ministry and at HIGH Day.

Angie is responsible for the day to day administration of HIGH Day, and creates the forms used in the program.

  • Crystal Ferrell

Crystal found Jesus at the age of 19 and has dug in deep to know and love her savior and redeemer. She fully relies on Christ to sustain her and give her strength and wisdom while she teaches her children. She is married with 5 kids to her highschool sweetheart, Jordan, of 19 years. She has two high school students, one middle school, and two grade schoolers at HIGH Day this year. Crystal’s family attends Discovery Church where she and her husband lead a small group and enjoy volunteering with the children and youth ministries. This year for curriculum she will be leaning toward an eclectic but classical curriculum base with HIGH Day and FLVS filling in to round out her studies. Crystal loves all that HIGH Day has to offer by way of curriculum and community. This year will mark 5 years of being with HIGH Day, second year in leadership. She deeply loves this community and is committed to seeing it thrive. She loves teaching high school classes.
